Theme camps are the interactive core of any burn. An ideal theme camp should create a visually stimulating presence and provide a communal space or other opportunity for interaction.
Creating and maintaining a theme camp takes commitment and hard work. Here's a list of suggested criteria to follow:

- Camps should be visually stimulating, have an inviting design.
- Camps should be interactive. They should include activities, events or services within their camps and available to the entire Myschievia community.
- Camps should be neighborly. This includes keeping sound within set limits, controlling where camp generators vent exhaust, and easily resolving any boundary disputes that arise.
- Camps should have a good MOOP process. A camp Earth Guardian should be designated to police your theme camp grounds for any matter out of place.
- Camps must follow safety protocols, including traffic management on the streets, proper handling of fuels, and any other areas defined by Myschievia.
